What many ringers know as Devon call cange ringing (closed handstroke leads, including ringing up and down, relatlvely quick calls) is also practiced further South West. Is there a general term for it that keeps everyone happy? Whenever I refer to Devon call change ringing I will get a few emails from Cornwall, but there doesn't seem to be a better term that describes the style?
