Ringing Forums

Lately myself and a friend have been trying to organise a monthly quarter peal session but whilst I am meticulous with my planning and would ask for towers weeks in advance my Friend unfortunately isn't and I'm hoping that somebody might have some advice about how I can organise my own quarters without having to involve him?. I don't really want to do this but it's got to the stage where nearly everything he has organised has been cancelled which is both frustrating for me and depressing seeing that I really want these sessions to be a success, It would also be helpful if there was a central council publication about organising ringing events I'm genuinely surprised that nobody has ever thought of this before seeing that younger ringers like myself don't necessarily have the same knowledge or contacts like our elder counterparts!
