    Would you like to join a Recruitment Network?

    The 3Rs (Recruit, Regain, Retain) group within the CCCBR's Recruitment & Development Workgroup has a remit to support recruitment of new and returning ringers. We are planning to launch a new "Recruitment Network" in early 2026; a network of ringers with a shared interest in recruiting new and lapsed/"resting" ringers. The aim is to share good ideas and success stories through regular online meetings, forming a "community of practice".*

    We want to know what would be most useful for the ringing community, so we are inviting anyone involved in recruitment, or who might be interested in joining the network, to fill in this short survey: https://forms.gle/rFWMe2c18cp1TmDK9

    Ringers are also welcome to share their thoughts with us via .

    *Community of practice: a group of people who share a common interest or responsibility, and come together to share knowledge, develop expertise, and solve problems. Members interact regularly to learn from each other; this can include sharing ideas, developing new approaches, and building a shared knowledge base over time. Communities of practice are driven by collective learning and improvement and can be a source of support and innovation.

    It is planned to have the first online meeting of the Recruitment Network, following the next Recruitment and Development Work Group Briefing that is on 8th February, so therefore mid February. When enough have signed up to join the ‘Community of Practice’, which we are calling the Recruitment Network, although we will possibly change that name, then we will announce the date with a link and we will decide what the majority think will be the best for frequency of meetings. There are so many aspects to recruiting, and we wish to share best practice, by hearing from as many with a shared interest in this vitally important subject. Whilst it is probably not thought as such, but actually, every ringer needs to play their part and help promote ringing.

    Launch of the Recruitment Network - Sun 15th Mar, 8 pm GMT

Or perhaps your tower / branch / guild is thinking about a recruitment campaign but you don't know where to start, or would like some advice?     The 3Rs (Recruit, Regain, Retain) CCCBR Team is setting up a network of people to share good ideas and success stories through regular online meetings, taking place every 2 months. These will feature a short talk from a guest speaker, followed by Q&A and general discussion around the topic of the talk.
