Message sent on behalf of Josh Watkins, NW District Ringing Master, Suffolk Guild
We in the NW district of the Suffolk Guild are hosting an open day on Saturday 28th September and we'd love to have you along!
We have confirmed 31 towers open including the first public open ringing at Westhorpe following their restoration, turning a previously long unringable 5 into a pleasant 6. We should also have Fornham St Martin available, currently being rehung and augmented to 8. Aside from those, we have Horringer, Troston and Buxhall amongst the offerings open for those with a taste for recently rehung or augmented along with refreshments available throughout the day as you explore the beautiful Suffolk countryside.
Details are available at the Suffolk Guild ‘What’s On?’ page.
Day tickets are available ahead of the day for £20 or £25 including a premade lunch, please contact nwmaster@suffolkbells.org.uk for details. https://www.suffolkbells.org.uk/pdfs/NWDistrict/20240928NwDistrictOpenDayItineraryV2.pdf
